Learn More About the Accuracy Parameters for Each BioProTT™ Clamp-On Sensor

CalibrationAdjustment

1. The following parameters impact the ultrasonic signals inside the BioProTT™ Clamp-On Transducer:

  • Medium type
  • Medium temperature
  • Tubing material
  • Flow range

2. For best results, each sensor is individually adjusted and calibrated according to these customer-specific parameters.

3. To maintain the accuracy and quality of the flow values, we recommend re-calibrating the sensors every 24 months.

If your parameters have changed, contact em-tec-service@psgdover.com for a new adjustment!

4. If your parameters have not changed, you can carry out the calibration on site:

  • Use the same parameters as stated in the calibration report
  • Attach the sensor to the tube according to our recommendations
  • Perform the measurement for each of your chosen verification points and record the flow values
  • Generate a calibration report and check if the flow values are within the specific range

5. If measurements turn out to be outside the specifications, you can either:

  • Set a calibration factor to adapt the measure flow value or
  • Send the sensor to em-tec for readjustment
